Air Jet Sieve e200 LS
Hosokawa Alpine developed the process of air jet sieving more than 50 years ago and launched the very first
air jet sieve onto the market. With the Air Jet Sieve e200LS, Hosokawa Alpine has succeeded yet again in
setting a new benchmark in terms of functionality and quality. For the very first time, the unit has an
integrated mini-computer which controls, regulates and monitors the sieving process. Optimized sieving
times and reduced peripherals save the operator time, and automatic checks and default settings increase
the quality of the results. A touch screen permits simple and intuitive operation.
The e200 LS is ideal for analysing any kind of dry material. Samples of between 0.3 and 100 grams in weight
can be analysed easily and quickly. The batch weight is dependent on the sieve mesh width and material
density. The laboratory Air Jet Sieve can determine the particle size distribution of powdery materials in the
range of 25 µm to 2000 µm. The extraordinarily good dispersion of the material being analysed by the nozzle
jet permits analyses down to 10 µm with the micro-precision sieves.

Hosokawa Alpine has developed a new online particle size measurement device, which automatically takes
samples from the grinding and classification system, and measures the fineness. The Optisizer is equipped
with a controller which automatically checks the classifying process to ensure a stable product size.
